Install into LDPE/irrigation pipe by simply pressing the piercing spike into the pipe wall past the barbed edge. Alternatively, install the dripper into micro-pipe (in lengths up to 4 metres) directly from the tap using a 4mm barbed tap connector or feed from the main supply pipe by inserting a 4mm joiner into the pipe wall. Ensure accurate delivery of water by securing in place using a ground stake.

Self-piercing drippers are equipped with an internal patterned labyrinth designed to maximise turbulence yet still maintaining a pressure compensated flow. This unique labyrinth forces water to spin and whirl around the dripper to ensure water is constantly moving. Making sure particles do not have a chance to settle inside the dripper protects against sediment build-up that leads to clogging.

Pressure Compensating drippers offer the perfect solution for watering sloped areas or large run lengths as drippers emit exactly the same amount of water regardless of elevation or location within the system. Top Tip: Pressure compensating drippers self-compensate between 1 – 3 bar pressure and require a pressure reducer at the start of the system to function optimally.

Manufactured using UV stabilised and weather resistant plastics for long life and protection against deterioration even when subject to harsh climates and sunlight. Cheaper plastics will begin to fade and crack but you can be certain Hydrosure drippers are built to last.
