Some of my Micro Drippers are not working!
Common Problems
- Drippers not emitting: Check the flow rate from the tap using our Water Pressure and Flow Rate Guide. A flow rate of 540 LPH and a Dripper output of 8 LPH means up to 67 emitters can be run in a single zone. (Flow Rate Divided by Emitter Output).
- Dry spots: Emitters can become clogged with insects or dirt. Regularly flushing the pipe network, dismantling the drippers and cleaning them under running water prevents blockages.
- Structural Damage: Digging in the garden can puncture the supply pipe affecting emitter performance. Locate leaks or water pooling and fix the pipe by cutting out the damaged section using Pipe Cutters and re-connect using a Joiner.
- Pressure Loss: Make sure any open end of the pipe is plugged using an End Cap. This maintains water pressure at the correct level for emitters to function.
