Install the valve box below ground with the lid positioned at surface level. Ideal for installation amongst lawns, garden beds & paving, the valve box is expertly engineered with an oval shape to add resistance and enable the unit to remain firmly fixed in the ground. Use it to raise your Underground Sprinkler System to surface level when connecting to Drip Line or as an easily accessible water source when access to an outside tap is required elsewhere.

The high-resistance, strong polypropylene lid features built-in reinforcements to better withstand vertical loads from footfall whilst the internal tap valve is engineered from zinc alloy for long-lasting durability and rust/corrosion-resistant properties.

Featuring a dual lid design, the main lid enables full access to the tap valve whilst the secondary flap prevents dirt and debris from entering the valve box when a hose pipe is installed & left attached. The hose sits neatly when the lid is closed as the valve box incorporates a smooth lip for the hose to rest on when in use. This enables exceptional flow through without restricting the hose or pipe bore.

Integrated security clips built into the flip cover safeguard the internal components to ensure the lid remains in place and any unwanted tampering is minimised.

Complete with internal drainage outlets to allow any sitting water to drain whilst minimising debris entering the internal housing to keep the interior clean and dry. To install a valve box underground, begin by digging a hole to accommodate the size of the box, level off the ground and prevent root intrusion and aid drainage by layering the hole with permeable root matting and gravel.

The ¾” female inlet enables connection to an Underground Irrigation Pipe using a ¾” Male Elbow Compression Fitting when using MDPE or HDPE pipe. Alternatively, use a ¾” Male thread Barbed Elbow when using LDPE Pipe. The ¾” male outlet tap valve enables connection to above-ground systems using an Outdoor Tap Connector.
