An irrigation system within a greenhouse is essential as plants are not exposed to rainwater so are completely reliant on the grower. The in-built check valve opens when the system is turned on and pressure exceeds 1.7 bar and closes when the system is turned off and pressures reduce to below 1 bar. This essential mechanism prevents water droplets from falling onto plants and minimises the risk of leaf scorch caused by high temperatures within a greenhouse.

During the summer months, the temperature inside a greenhouse can rise to stifling levels that reduce growth and yield. Use HydroSure foggers to create an inexpensive greenhouse cooling/misting system that raises the humidity and reduces the temperature - the optimal conditions for plants to thrive.

Each fogger is capable of throwing water to a 2m x 2m perimeter. For uniform water distribution, space foggers 2 metres apart to ensure plenty of spray pattern overlap and minimise the risk of any dry spots resulting in under-watering.

The push fit mechanism allows for easy installation into overhead irrigation pipe using a Push-Fit to Barbed Adaptor or the HydroSure Push Fit Dropper and Weight. Use Support Hooks to secure pipe in position around the greenhouse perimeter and overhead.

Greenhouse fogger systems work most efficiently at water pressures around 1.7 - 3 bar. Often domestic water pressures will exceed the ideal bar pressure, so it is vital to use a pressure reducer at the start of your system to regulate the flow to the optimal level.
