HydroSure - In Partnership with K-Rain

Pressure Regulated Pop-up

Factory set to 2.8 Bar pressure, the water-saving HydroSure Pro S Spray with PRS can properly regulate the nozzle pressure within a pop-up sprinkler system to guarantee each spray emits exactly the same proportion of water regardless of location or elevation within the system. A pressure regulated spray body reduces water consumption and ensures nozzles output correct spray patterns that minimise mist and wind drift caused by too higher pressure within the system.

Easy Sprinkler Alignment

The built-in ratcheting riser and friction clutch feature allow for quick alignment of the spray pattern as the internal pop-up riser can be rotated to the required direction of water flow. The riser is located within the spray body ensuring an essential clean environment.

Built for Full pop-up Operation

The internal co-moulded wiper seal promotes leak-free and proper operation time after time even under low pressures. Manufactured from microbe and UV resistant materials, the wiper seal is engineered to reduce dirt and grass clogging the internal mechanisms that lead to riser stick ups. This coupled with the cartridge design for easy removal and cleaning makes the HydroSure Pro S Spray the ultimate reliable solution in underground irrigation.

Positive Riser Retraction

HydroSure, in partnership with K Rain, can certify the positive retraction of the internal riser in all soil condition when the irrigation is completed. The internal heavy-duty retraction spring is the strongest spring in the industry manufactured from robust stainless steel for a pop-up sprinkler system that is built to last.

Pre-installed Flush Cap

The flush cap allows easy retrieval of the riser by simply pulling the tab upwards. Functioning to prevent debris from entering the spray body during installation, the flush cap can remain in situ before the nozzles are installed to allow the finished irrigation system to be flushed and can also be reinstalled when carrying out system maintenance or winterisation. During system flushes, the flush cap opens when the stem extends and closes when the stem is retracted meaning water can only flow in one direction protecting against any drawback of system clogging debris.

Professionally Engineered

Manufactured with a five-year warranty and designed to provide year after year high performance and low maintenance. Engineered from corrosion and impact-resistant heavy-duty ABS plastic for superior structural strength and enhanced weatherability.

Compatible with Leading Brands

Built with compatibility in mind, use in conjunction with HydroSure and Female Threaded Nozzles from other brands (nozzles sold separately).

Pop Up Sprinkler Bodies Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is Water Pooling Around the Sprinkler Site?

    • Underground systems require frequent flushing to prevent dirt from clogging the nozzle or damaging the seal. Flush the system and clean the rotors if necessary to remove any sitting sediment.
    • Any damage to the riser caused by a mower or footfall will cause mechanical malfunction and disfigured spray patterns. Check each nozzle and turret on top of your sprinklers to ensure they are intact.
    • The area around a sprinkler site may become boggy/waterlogged indicating a loose connection between the swing joint/fitting or a break in the pipe network. To repair a leak, use a Compression Joiner, Joiner depending on the pipe used or install PTFE Tape around any male threaded connection to ensure a watertight seal.
    • Water leaking from sprinkler sites even when the system is switched off indicates a problem called low head drainage. A pop-up sprinkler with a Check valve will prevent water pooling from sprinklers installed at the lowest elevation.
  • My Sprinklers are not Working the Same as when Purchased!

    • Over time a sprinkler may experience a build-up of sediment and debris that blocks the nozzle outputs or damages the riser retraction mechanisms inside the sprinkler. Flush the system and clean out the rotor sprinkler as explained in our Sprinkler Maintenance Guide.
    • Prevent debris build-up by installing an Irrigation Filter at the start of the system.
      • Alternatively, leaking connections or a pipe supplying the sprinkler may have split. The water lost from connections that are not watertight will cause pressure loss and reduce performance.
  • Why are my Underground Pipe Connections Leaking?

An area that is boggy or waterlogged indicates a leaking connection or a pipe that may have split. Most connection points can be tightened by hand or by adding two wraps of PTFE Tape around male threads or replacing connectors that over time, have snapped.

When fixing your pipe network, depending on the pipe you are using to supply your system will indicate the type of connector you need to repair the damage.

  • My Sprinkler Does Not Cover the Range/Radius Outlined in the Specifications

    • A variation in flow rate or pressure drop from the water source will also reduce the performance of sprinklers – Check the flow rate from your tap remains high enough during the time of day your system is set to run using our Calculating Flow Rate from the Water Source Guide.
    • On windy days, the spray pattern from your sprinklers may alter even when using nozzles with built-in wind resistance. Alternatively, running a system at a bar pressure that is too high, will create misting – Consider installing a Pressure Reducer regulated as specified in the sprinkler specifications to minimise spray pattern wind drift.
