The filter traps tiny dirt and sediment particles too small to see yet can easily block the tiny outlets of emitters. Even the smallest gathering of particles can lead to dry spots and noticeable undernourishment of plants.

Connect to a system before a pressure reducer or water timer to prevent clogging or failure. Use the outlet with an adaptor to connect micro pipe, LDPE pipe or hose pipe. Take into account the direction of water flow indicated by the arrow on the outer sleeve as emitters should be installed upstream.

The external sleeve is manufactured from U.V Stabilised plastic and the internal mesh screen is engineered from long-lasting stainless steel. Ensure the filter is maintained and cleaned regularly by unscrewing the nut to access the mesh screen and wash the sediment out.

Engineered with built-in washers and a tapered barbed edge for maximum protection against water leaking from the unit and around pipe connections. This ensures optimum pressure can be maintained within the system and water wastage around connection sites are eliminated.
