HydroSure LDPE Pipe - 14mm x 100m - Black
Compatible with 14mm Connectors, LDPE Pipe has a 1.2mm wall thickness that increases the internal diameter and reduces pressure loss and friction for maximum water flow.
Use this 14mm LDPE Pipe with 14mm Barbed Connectors

LDPE Pipe for Garden Irrigation
The rigid wall structure of LDPE pipe maintains its surface integrity with minimal risk of fraying when installing micro-irrigation emitters into the sidewall via a 4mm hole. Unlike garden hose, LDPE promises maximum protection against leakage around the installation site.
Garden Irrigation Pipe and Fittings
Barbed/Nut lock connectors are quoted by their internal diameters as fittings fit inside the LDPE pipe bore. or a secure, watertight connection with maximum protection against pipe dislocation, we recommend using 14mm Connectors with 14mm LDPE Pipe. For further reliability when using barbed connectors, install a Ratchet Clamp at each connection outlet.
Uses for LDPE Pipe
The branched molecular structure of irrigation hose enables a rigid yet partly flexible construction easily worked with when building a fully customisable irrigation pipe layout. The smooth internal surface not only reduces the risk of algae formation but also allows water to flow freely even at low pressures enabling emitters to run at their optimal level. Its structure is suitably designed to be installed on the surface or 15cm below - ideal for discreetly disguising pipe under decorative bark or when supplying a low-volume sprinkler system.
Garden Watering Irrigation System
Use LDPE pipe as part of a garden irrigation system when distributing water to pots, containers, vineyards, orchards, garden beds and borders or around the perimeter of a greenhouse. To maximise water flow efficiency, the pipe must be uncoiled correctly on a warm, sunny day as this makes the pipe easier to handle and less likely to kink. Unravel the pipe in a straight line weighing each end down with a brick and leave for one hour.
UV Stabilised LDPE Pipe
Manufactured from UV-stabilised low-density polyethylene ideal for building the foundations of a long-lasting irrigation pipe network. Most LDPE pipe will succumb to harsh weather conditions but, you can be certain HydroSure irrigation pipe is built with ultimate durability and quality in mind. HydroSure LDPE is also engineered for resistance against most chemicals used in an agricultural setting.
Temperature Resistant LDPE
Professionally tested for impact strength between -20° up to +70° with working and burst pressures within this temperature range. LDPE is advantageous as it has a good ability to resist damage from frost during the winter months however, to prolong its life, drain your irrigation system of any sitting water before the first frosts to protect from the effect of thawing and freezing caused by expanding water as temperatures plummet.
LDPE Working Pressure
With working pressures of up to 4 bar, LDPE pipe is ideal for supplying low-volume sprinkler systems and micro emitter irrigation systems. Top Tip: When using a system that irrigates at pressures surpassing 3 bar, ensure the connectors used can withstand this level of pressure.
