Automatic water-saving irrigation

To save water and maintain healthy plants, the GARDENA Water Timer will not start the scheduled watering cycle when the soil moisture level is ample. Connect to your GARDENA Water Timer for fully automated control over garden watering depending on the soil moisture.

Flexible placement

Place almost anywhere in the garden including, flower beds, lawns and plant pots. The compact design and the five-metre-long connection cable allow flexible placement up to 5 metres away from where your timer is installed.
The low height and flat top design means the sensor can even be installed on your lawn without disturbing the mowing process!

Precisely informed

Easily measure and set the moisture levels where the controller will halt the watering program using your GARDENA Timer. The measured soil moisture is shown on the display in the form of water drops or view the settings from your smartphone if using a GARDENA Bluetooth enabled App.

Secure and reliable operation

Keep track of garden watering and ensure replacement of the battery in time. For reliable performance, the low battery power is indicated on both your timer and the LED indicator on the battery compartment.

Proven reliable measuring principle

For reliable and accurate performance, the sensor uses proven electrothermal measuring principles that measures the soil moisture features a metal tip enclosed in felt that heats up and calculates the moisture levels in the soil based on cooling times!
